As you all know, repeating the same basic English expressions stands as a block in your way to professional & native English. And we're all here to sound like a native. So, today's lesson will help you start changing the way you express that you don't like something (food, sports, activities, etc).
The basic form of expression for this situation is; 'I don't like ............', right?
So, instead of using this kind of expression, we'll use the ones (Bolded) in the following examples to sound more native.
* I'm not into dangerous sports / Thai food.
* I prefer Itlalian / Egyptian food.
* I'd rather eat Japanese food when I go out.
* I don't eat fish. It's not to my taste.
* I'm not good at hockey. It's not my thing. / It's not my favourite.
* I'm not crazy about strawberries.
* I've come to realize that hardwork is not for me. ๐
* It drives me ceazy.
* I'm not fond of it.
* I'm not a big fan of Basketball / this band, etc.
When you're giving your opinion about someone / something:
* We don't get along.
* We have never really clicked.
* I find him/her intolerable.
* I can't stand him/her.
* He/She drives me crazy.
* I'm not a big fan of L.Messi / Manchester United.
So, that was a quick lesson about using the real life expressions to show that you dislike something or someone in a native like way. Start using these expressions in your daily conversations and sound like a native.
Best Of Luck
GoodBye
