How To Think In English.

Thinking in English is one the most powerful techniques when it comes to speak English fluently. But, do you think it's easy to start thinking in English like you do in your first language?

If you want to speak English fluently like a native, you should think the way he/she does.

Native speakers think in English as it's their first language (Mother tongue) so they speak freely without pauses or stops during their speech just like you do with Arabic (Your mother tongue).

The problem is we always translate our first language questions, statements, situations, etc. And that's totally WRONG.

So, let's get to the point. HOW CAN YOU START THINKING IN ENGLISH!

1- Never memorize individual words. Instead, put them into a real-life situation and imagine that you're involved in that situation. Ask yourself "What would you do if there is a conversation between you and a native speaker who wants help using such word in a situation."

2- Start thinking of the situation in English and try to either form a sentence using that word yourself, or simply search for a situation containing this word on the internet.

3- Try to vary your situations and link them to each other, so that you can widen your vocabulary as well as strengthen your fluency.

4- Use English in most of your daily life situations in order to enrich your mind with a large number of situations that let you speak freely and confidently at anytime you need to.

5- Grammar rules are boring if it comes to learn how to speak English fluently. Learn grammar in situations not by reading books or having grammar lessons or courses.

6- Finally, don't be shy to imitate the correct pronunciation of the words or the intonation of the sentences so that you will be able to sound like a real native speaker not like a foreigner.

I hope those simple tips help you enough to start changing the way you think about English language and being FLUENT.

Till I see you in the next lesson.

Have a good day.
